Assign Class Colors

Command: Setup > Class Colors

An individual color can be assigned to each class. By default, a pattern of individual colors is assigned to the first 32 class numbers followed by several sets of interpolated color. The default colors can be regained by clicking the button Standard Colors. Pressing the "oops" button () undoes all changes since opening the Class Color Definition dialog.

The color of a particular class can be changed by clicking the corresponding color field and selecting a suitable color from the following dialog.

Epina ImageLab allows you to create a color gradient across a certain number of classes. In order to create a gradient specify the first class number, the last class number and a class number in between. To do that click first one of the "Select Color" buttons (e.g Select First Color) and then the desired class number. Next, assign colors to the specified classes by selecting a color from the color drop down element or by clicking the ellipses button right to it. By clicking the Set Colors button, the colors of the specified range of class numbers are interpolated between the pivot colors (the screenshot above shows the class numbers 48 to 127 with colors interpolated between teal and lighblue, and lightblue and yellow).

You can make the current class colors permanent by selecting the check box "Set as Default Colors".
