Application Example: Bank Card

THz imaging of a bank card. The bank card has been scanned by a THz imaging system. The resulting raw images have been classified by PLS-DA to distinguish the microchip, the antenna and the coupling circuitry.

The raw data (spectral range from 300 GHz to 2.9 THz) has been processed to develop a classifier which is able to discriminate between the antenna, the microchip, and the coupling coil (from left to right).
