Directory Structure

Path Explanation
$DBDir$ The directory where Epina ImageLab expects the databases to be stored. The directory has to be writable if you want to use the automatic update feature.
$HomeDir$ The directory where Epina ImageLab has been installed to. The directory and its subdirectories have to be writable if you want to use the automatic update feature. The home directory is displayed in the preferences dialog but cannot be edited.
$ScratchDir$ The directory where Epina ImageLab stores temporary files. This directory has to be writable. Files which are stored in this directory are automatically deleted when closing Epina ImageLab.
$ScriptDir$ The directory where Epina ImageLab loads scripts from. This directory has to be writable.
$WorkDir$ The directory which Epina ImageLab uses for any kind of default storage. This directory and its subdirectories have to be writable.
$WorkDir$\cmaps Repository of user-defined chemical maps.
$WorkDir$\colormaps User-defined color palettes.
$WorkDir$\settings Repository of user-defined settings which are not part of the system parameters stored in the Windows registry.
$WorkDir$\spdcs Repository of user-defined spectral descriptors.
$WorkDir$\tdts Dataset directory - repository of training and test data sets for classifier development.
